The wound care team uses a variety of diagnostic methods to help assess the type and stage of the patient’s wound, to ensure effective wound treatments are used to expedite healing. Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is a clinical treatment where the patient breathes 100 percent oxygen intermittently while enclosed in a hyperbaric oxygen chamber.
